Anyone knows a way to hide the main menu in blue3Wide, so that only the ticker and the video file are on screen?

Hiding the menu can be accomplished using the <visible> tag. You can set this up so that the menu visibility is dependant of some other controls. For example only when your button doesn't have focus.

RSS on AEON wide not working

Hi there, no its bound to be something i'm doing.... i've tried everything to get this to work, downloaded aeon wide 1.3 and installed, enable rss ticker, put in details, use aeon menu generator to make sure weather and rss is ticked saved the file, checked weather is working in its own page, cleared the cache.. and i'm still getting #location #temp #rss...

i'm running on rc3 if that helps...

any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm pulling out my hair with this one.....

Did you enable the RSS-Ticker plugin and tick the checkboxes in the RSS-Ticker config?

Yes i've enabled the plugin within plugins, have all the tick box's ticked and still no joy.... i've even installed it on another pc and i'm getting the same result, is there anything else missing...
I just dont get it.... this seems so easy, maybe there is something i'm missing in the main config of media portal

Make sure you copied the plugin into .....\plugins\process.

Rss-Ticker code is on "Basichome.xml" and last SVN.
When i start mp and switch manualy to basichome then ticker is running!
When i start mp with basichome -> ticker is not responding!

What exactly do you mean by 'ticker is not responding'?

Sometimes it can take some time before the ticker shows up when starting MP. Just wait a few moments and the ticker starts running.

If this is not the case can you please check your log files for rss ticker errors. Or just post the log files here and i will have a look.

Just saw a screenshot elsewhere with Weather details on MP home page which made me look for what was doing it.

Could I suggest that the first post be made into an ongoing changelog with the latest version of the plugin to download so that new users of the plugin don't need to hunt through the whole thread to get the correct version.

Wierdest thing, have never had fault with your plug-in... Yet with RC4 I seem to be having no Weather information. I have the ticker, just no weather.. And yet I do have weather enabled... Any suggestions mate.. Thanks
