Thanks for the VLC testing... bug seems to be indeed on VLC side -> #1617 (Problem view Free Multiposte with 0.8.6h on Mac) - VLC - Trac . MP Mantis error closed.

Finally i can stop to wonder why i didn't encounter this bug and wasn't unable to reproduce it
So we can safely close the mantis - i think
