I would recommend that too.
Bought a X2 4200 939 for 130 Euro, thats nearly the price of a X2 3800+ and a AM2 mainboard. Beside that DDR2 is much cheaper. I could kick myself for not selling the old 939 mainboard any by that insted.

I'm using the Arock 939NF6G and it works great. It has High def audio and geforce 6150 chip which works great with Mediaportal. In combination with 2 gigs of RAM and a Athlon 64 3200+, my HTPC runs like a charm! Besides, I only paid like 60 euros for it, it has everything onboard, you only need to plugin your tv-card!
