Hi Hoborg, don't think this is codec/SAF related, but hope you or some other viewing this thread might be able to help.

I just can not get Live HDTV to play smooth. 1080p MKV's plays smooth (this is using MPC codec) but since people say this codec doesn't work with HDTV i use PowerDVD (also tried Coreavc, but that also gave me stuttering.

CPU usage is about 60% so I don't think DXVA is working..

Have a nForce 730a motherboard with onboard Geforce 8300 GPU

Any ideas what to do to also get Live HDTV to work?

And could someone please post a picture from graphstudio when watching Live HDTV channel so that I could see what it should look like

So, it looks like my best bet is to use the DiVX decoder, which sacrifices DXVA but allows me to play more files. Of course these results only apply to my HD3200 with Cat 9.12, but hopefully they'll be of some use to someone.

That means DXVA was not working.
Becouse if yes, your CPU usage will be ~10% max.

Of course, but don't overlook that the Cyberlink decoders are unable to play the Pirates of the Caribbean clip in SW or DXVA mode, so maybe there's other videos they can't play also.

Try to open your video in graphstudio - is audio decoder conected to audio renderer? If you hit play, did video play?

I tried the unlock one as you sent it to me. I also was able to open the video in graphstudio and it shows the audio decoder connected to the audio renderer. I was also able to hit play and the video play just fine but without audio.

Any other ideas?

Nice, DTS passthrough is working correctly now!

But added below are two graphs I have my doubts about.
The first graph is a 720p mkv file (with DTS audio). Is the 'AVI Decompressor' supposed to be there?
The second graph is a 720p VC-1 file with wma audio. What's that 'WMAudio Decoder'? And that AVI decompressor too... Is it supposed to be there?

Looks like drivers issue. Try reinstall/update audio drivers.

Play your video in MP and connect graphstudio, is AVI decompresor still there?
WMAudio decoder is OK, it is used for WMV format.

Run MP in window, start Graphstudio, file - connect to remote graph.
