Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

yep it finally finished and said that the server is down, is there a way to install without the download?

edit - it carried on install but live BBCHD not working - do I need the download for this?

thanks for the help and the files :)

sorry to reply to my own post - I have a backup of my pdvd8 &9 directories, could you tell me which files SAF downloads and where I would need to put them as I can find them myself in my pdvd8 & 9 directories.

Thanks, Biffa :)

That is not that easy.
Only one file (~3.5MB) is autodownloaded.

Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Hello Hoborg!
I can't play any XVID videos in MP, but it perfectly played in MPCHC
Until I have edited my registry from default settings after unlocked SAF install
from
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gabest\Filters\MPC Video Decoder]
"ActiveCodecs"=dword:00001803

to

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gabest\Filters\MPC Video Decoder]
"ActiveCodecs"=dword:00003fff

And its great - all my XVID videos are start playing!
So, can you describe to me these settings...???

You redirect video decoding from FFDshow to MPC video decoder side.
Can you provide small video sample to test?
BTW, you should run WinXP autoupdater, you VMR9 is outdated.
