I managed to use RDP to work with my HPTC from work. I found DirectVobSub in Add/Remove program so i removed it and efter reboot this is how my graph looks like. Is it better ? :)

http://forumbilder.se/images/87201020050PM3a18.jpg

The problem is that MP still uses 90-100% cpu and MPC-Hc use 5-10% :/

Where do i go from here ?

(Will my subtitles (SRT, SUB) work in MediaPortal after DVS is removed ?)

Yes.
But - why FFDshow is used to decode h.264 (are you sure it is h.264 video?) SAF autodisable FFDshow for h.264 and use MPC video decoder instead ...
So, reinstall SAF after all :)

Ok ! :)

I'll reinstall SAF and try again. Keep your fungers crossed that it works :D

I keep you updated :) Thanks for your help so far !

//Stellan

Edit: Should i install saf 4.0 or 5.0 beta ?

4.00
BTW - check you you do not have FFDshow already installed (like DirectVobSub)...

Done a complete reinstall of SAF now following the guide on the first page. And DXVA doesn't seem to work neither in nor out of MP

Before the reinstall there use to be a text down in MPC-HC where it says (DXVA). But that is gone now and CPU is arount 50% all the time and peaks up to 100% sometimes. I havn't touch any settings. Just installed and reboot.

Same movie, fresh install of SAF 4.0. No DVS and Passtrough with the sound. Does it look right to you ?
http://http://forumbilder.se/images/ff201030034PM71ad.jpg

(Did try to press "DXVA-ON" under program->Saf->MPC-HC" but it didnt make any difference as far as i could notice.)
And I added "ffdshow Audio Decoder" in MP settings in "Video Post Processing" as the installation said. Don't know what that does. But maybe it can help you when your helping me :D

Really appreciate your help !

Again - are you sure your video is h.264?
Open in graphstudio, play and hover your mouse pointer over red ffdshow icon in taskbar - what is written here?
...or open in mpc-hc player and Properties - Media info

BTW, make sure you have h.264/AVC disabled in FFDShow video decoder - codecs. If you did remote install, it is possible it was not set correctly (or you are not logged as admin).

I'm sure the video is h.264. At least i ran it with dxva in MPC-HC before i reinstalled it now :D

Otherwise i'll try another movie. But i worked outside MP before the SAF reinstall "we" just did :)

I still don't get it to work. These images is "right of the box" after installed SAF 4.0

MPC-HC - No dxva - Ext subs
http://data.fuskbugg.se/skalman01/mpc-hc.nodxva.extsubs.jpg

MP - No dxva - Ext subs
http://data.fuskbugg.se/skalman01/mp.nodxva.extsubs.jpg

I do get dxva in MPC-HC when disabling "ffdshow Video Decoder" in "External Filters". But i guess that i shouldn't do that. And even if i do so. I don't get dxva inside MP.

I'm growing grey hair soon. This is so booring not being able to fix it :(

//Stellan

Edit: But at least the audiosyncproblem seems to have been fixed after uninstalling DirectVobSub :) Just need to get the merits/codecs/Dxva right

I don't really know where I change that. But i did have full adminrights while reinstalling. Used VNC as RDP and thats just a "monitor extender" as i think you know.

You who knows how to read the graph. Does it look right for beeing a clean install ? Seems to me that they don't look exactly the same. But maybe thats normal.

I mean. Shouldn't DXVA be enabled by default. Even in MPC as in MP ?

START - SAF - FFDShow - configure video decoder, then - codecs - and disable h.264/AVC. That is all you need to do.
No idea why you have enabled this (FFDShow is installed by another program?), SAF have disabled this option after install.
FFDshow video decoder is not DXVA compatible.

Believ it or not. But that seems to have made the trick :D

Now im running the movie in mpc and mp with dxva, subs and ~10% cpu usage :D

Great job my friend ! :D

Now my next mission is to make MP/MPC change HZ depending on the movies framerate :)

Really glad you could help me. I really appreciate it ! Think I should do a ghostimage of my system now ;)
