Just have SAF 4.00 installed. No sound from DVD9 VOB files (first audio stream). Tech info

Decoder config is exactly the same as in the first post.
Standalone AC-3 files play well.
Please advise.

Are you using passthrough or not? Do you have a receiver or use your TV only?

Yes I'm using passthrough to Denon AVR (AVR operates in SPDIF auto mode).

And here french test of hd 5450 who says the deinterlacing is bad :

No problem on my ATI 5450, deinterlecing is perfect and i cannot reproduce any kind of coruption...

Hello guys.

Short question:
Which Catalyst version I should use with my HTPC setup?
I tried the latest one, but have strange stuttering problems. But with correct refresh rate.

Windows 7 Ultimate with Mediaportal 1.1 (RC3)
Sapphire Radeon HD 4550
MSI K9A2VM-FD, 780V
AMD Athlon X2 4850e

Hello all, since I've installed SAF v4.00, many problems disappeared like stuttering and lips voice sync, but 1 out of 20 MKV movies plays with a black screen, only sound is heard, what should I check about these movies so I can get some help to solve the problem?

Try SAF 5.
