TV signal is SD. I think my tuner should show it in SD as well
And I just also found out that I can play only ts files with this playerno avi file can be recognized... I can only watch them with my vlc player (I have it installed).

Here are these logs (and screenshot while installing SAF). I hope I've attached it correctly (doing that here for a first time)
BTW I've choose "not uninstall" already installed MP while installing this "weekly snapshot"... Maybe I needed to uninstall it firstly and then install this weekly snapshot?

This error you got mean yout Cyberling Mpeg2 is outdated. It is not serious.
From yout LOG:

Your system are using diferent decoders. None of these are from SAF...
Try to connect graphstudio and see by yourself.
You can try to uninstall this Avermedia decoders.

1. Install pover DVD and take this clvsd.ax and uninstall it if needed
2. Install MP
3. Install MP weekly snapshot
4. Install SAF

Well, now that I finally got HW decoding, the 1px border problem appeared...! I will wait and see how often this happens, and how annoying it is, before I do anything.
But anyway, I thought about a third workaround not mentioned in the first post: I have already stretched the display to fit my TV (in ATI CCC). If I strech it another notch, the border will probably go away. And I guess both MP and most movies/series can do fine without a few pixels in the border!

Something still is wrong... I got no sound at all now... Haven't I removed this old MPEG-2??
