Why Elecard for live tv? Becouse it alow you to use DXVA + gama correction to make gray black - this is great feature for analog TV.
BTW - no watermark at all for 21days :)
Really? i thought PDVD supported DXVA by now...

Anyway, is DXVA more important than picture quality to you? I can see the gray/black problem where it's present, but DXVA? I think 95% of the users have no problem decoding a SD MPEG-2 video stream with their cpu. To be quite honest, i don't feel petty for my cpu doing all the work if he gives me the better picture...

Well, i am not sure what kind of broadcast do you have in your country (PAL/NTSC), but here is PAL - that mean picture are interlaced. And to have good picture quality, you need good real time deinterlacing. Well, you can use some software method, but no one are as good as DXVA (hardware) deinterlacing. If you search this thread, you can found some pictures as well. So this is the reason why i need DXVA for LiveTV (MPEG2). It is not about CPU usage, it is about picture quality.

Yes, PDVD support DXVA, but doesn't support DXVA+gama correction. I newer say that PDVD is bad - it is realy great, of course.

Using SAF 3.47 i had a weird issue with my volume (vista x32).

I was always using ac3filter & coreavc, witch worked fine. When switching to SAF i noticed that my volume control did not work anymore. Couldn't set volume with my remote, and had no volumebar on my soundgraph vfd. Tried, with a keyboard, to set volume ( + and - keys) also had no effect. Solution was to unregister mpaDecFilter.ax and reinstall ac3filter. Now everything works again, volumebar on VFD, remote buttons etc.

    you are using spdif right?

Hi.... i have a question about mov files trailer with audio 3/2 1 . If i use graphedit with MPA codec or MPC-MPA or AAC monogram and directsound device and i play the trailer i don't get on my a/v receiver (connected by spdif) the signal in dolby digital , but simply stereo and not well divided between the speaker (it seems that the rear sound is played in the front and in the rear speaker both togheter).
But if i install AC3 filter and i connect the MPA (MPC-MPA) with Ac3 filter and then directsound device , i get the dolby signal on my A/V receiver and the sound is well played . So , my question is:
How i can i get the dolby sound from a MOV files using only the MPA decoder or AAC monogram???
Of course the codecs are setted on spdif.
Finally my problem is that i don't have the dolby digital sound in mediaportal using mpa , mpc aac codec when i play a mov files.
In case a dvd movie i have the dolby sound well played also in mediaportal

    thanks

I have ATI Hd4850 and the way I have DD working is by selected ATI HDMI Output. Using Default Waveout or DirectSound does not work for me.

    This is my system:

I use M-audio for spdif, and in his configuration i setted correctly spdif. In fact DVD are played well. The problem are just trailers like MOV files.
Do you think the problem can be the audio render?

I don't thinks that is the problem.... if connect mpa or aac with ac3 filter in graph edit i get Dolby digital sound without problem.....
What i'm saying is: MPA or AAC codec can decode alone without any other filter audio in dolby digital from a
    files .MOV?

*.MOV files aro not supported by haali media splitter, so they are not supported by SAF too.
If your MOV file are some HD video, you can rename it to MKV or MP4 to proceed it by Haali. Now MPC-HC video and audio decoder will be in use.

Might be a stuipd question but should I be able to get SAF to handle divx at all? I've been ripping my DVDs to divx format and have just discovered that they do not play in MP (with or without automatic decode settings on) but they do in WMP.

thanks for the help.. but.... i'm sorry it doesn't work for me also if i change the from mov to mkv or mp4
if i use only the mpa codec i don't get the dolby sound. Instead if in configuration of mediaportal i postprocess the audio with ac3 filter i get the dolby digital sound.... i don't know why
