Yes... I use my own directshow filter selection, not just SAF... But it's ok to test what you want I think... isn't it? If you want me to try with another audio decoder please ask, too.

The graph you are provided in DL link is not from MP.
Please post graph when playing file in MP...

It's from MP, obviously there's no sense that I post graph from any other player... Why do you say it's not? ¿?

Are you sure? Becouse from MP, first filter should be "Media Portal file reader" not filename... (this happend when you drag a file to graphstudio manualy).

I'm sure it's played from "MyVideos" inside MP... If I had rendered the file directly into Graphedit, unconnected filters (for MPEG2 and AAC) shouldn't appear.

Maybe it is working different under Vista. I am not able to make TS reader connect to any of sound decoders - MPA, AC3 filter, Cyberlink audio decoder... No idea why.

No idea... :/ Did you try 1.1.0 ALPHA? Tsreader has been fixed in some ways for h264, as I told you in PM. (nothing related to audio, though).

Yes, 1.1.0 alpha here (tested on 1.0.2 too).

If I just render not_working.ts in Graphedit, Haali Media Splitter is used, and I can see AC3 Subtype in audio pin properties. AC3filter is connected as highest merit filter in dshow.

If you use MediaPortal File Reader in Graphedit to load not_working.ts, and then render audio pin, I can't see AC3 as audio Subtype, and dshow selects then Monogram AAC decoder to decode stream. I can't say if it works, because I'm not at home (I'm doing tests connecting remotely to PC in my living room), but I don't think so...

I noticed it too. MP TS reader use monogram aac even if stream have AC3 sound. Looks like some MP issue...

I asume MediaPortal File Reader detects first audio stream in AAC format, and that's why it's connected to Monogram AAC decoder...

I've recorded a little clip from Anixe HD (h264 1080i, AC3), and if I try to render it using Mediaportal File Reader into Graphedit it works, and it connects to AC3Filter if I render audio pin...

EDIT: In fact, with not_working.ts, MediaPortal File Reader ONLY detects first audio stream in AAC format. Haali Media Splitter detects two different audio streams, and if you render audio pin, AC3 one is used.

What about the subtitles, if we have a working setup based on h.264 decoder other than mpc-hc?
Ideal world for me would be:

h.264 for ts and LiveTV with subtitles and dxva and zoom possible so that 21:9 can be cropped to 16:9 with subs.

MP has no limitations with DVB / Teletext subtitles and HW acceleration. Those will always work with HW acceleration as long as the video codec supports it.
