Okay,

i tried this option but it also does not work for me.

So i restored a 1 1/2 half old image and now everything is fine again with the old version.

Here is a screenshot of the settings of the old version to compare

unbenanntsqb.jpg

Only difference i can see are the tiks on the 24bit and 32bit options. Does this makes ay sense?

But mayne problem i originally updated for is still not solved. I want to look some rm (real media) files on my htpc.

I tried the manually option to install the real alternative player but that not worked. So i saw in the screenshots of your new version, that you install an realmedia filter, so i treid that but that also does not work. Now im back with my old version and the same prob not to watch my rm files. Is this a problem with my rm files.

I added the rm filter in MPC HC in the options where the fddshow filter is added but it dont helped me. Any suggestions?

Thx
Henric

Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Why is the MS-DMO filter disabled by default? After installing SAF, I can't play WMV files anymore! After enabling MS-DMO I can play WMV files again.
I'm using Win 7

Also, It doesn't work very well :( The OSD is weird and when showing the OSD, the video becomes black. Also after pressing right mouse button, I can't get back to MP!

Try this to test: http://av.rtl.nl/web/components/soa...chte_Tijden_s24_a3992.MiMedia_WM_1500K_V9.wmv
(OnlineVideo's > TVTutti > now select a Uitzendinggemist or RTL gemist video)

I found that it only affects WMV / ASF streams (OnlineVideo's plugin).

Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Has anyone else seen this problem? When I run a certain video it's duplicated into two windows on the top half of the screen. I've attached a screen shot of the video showing the error. Any ideas? I saw this on another video and thought it was the file, tried remuxing it and when it didn't work just deleted it. Now that it happened a second time I'm curious what the issue is.

Note, I forgot to add that I'm running 1080i@96hz on a projector. Haven't had any problems with any content so far, this is the first.

Mediainfo shows the following;
video stream: 4202Kbps, 1280*534, at 23.975fps, AVC (Container profile=Unknown@4.1)(High@L4.1)(CABAC/12 Ref Frames)

Thanks!

Update SAF.

That worked! Thanks Hoborg. You rock!

Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Hi, upgraded to SAF 4.0 RC2 with Mediaportal 1.1RC1 from SAF 4.0 beta 22 test6 with Mediaportal 1.1 BETA 1.

After the upgrade, unable to play certain avi files, mediaportal displays:
Unable to play: Filename.avi
Video codec: MPEG-1V
Audio codec: MPEG-1 AUDIO LAYER 2

How can i fix this?

If you drag and drop your file in to graphstudio, did it work?

Wmv is most problematic format to play, i really do not like it :)

Is the AVI fix included in RC2 Hoborg? There was a error in the RC1, so try RC2. Or apply the registry fix posted earlier..

OK, i checked Online Video again and it seems problematic sites (Game trailers, etc) stops to use WMV and use FLV instead. I think there is no reason to disable DMO decoder any longer by default.
I change default SAF setting, but not for SAF 4.00, it will be added in to SAF 5.00 experimental.

Hmm.. But why did you disable it then? Disabled, it isn't even possible to play those wmv files! :(

    Out of Sync Issues

Been noticing quite a few out of sync issues lately . I have one .mp4 file that is way out of sync using SAF 4.00 RC1. If I play it with Quick time player it is fine. Also had an avi file out of sync. Unfortunately I deleted that one thinking it was a bad avi conversion. The thing about the avi file was that it starts off fine but about 3/4's thru the movie it goes out of sync. Anyone else experiencing audio out of sync? Seems to only happen with FFDshow Audio.

    Windows XP

I have MP SVN 1.04.24923 and SAF 4.00 RC1 installed

Just to update: For the hek of it I tried MkvMerge and muxed my .mp4 movie to .mkv. All went well and now the movie is in sync. don't know why but it Works for me with the mkv container.

    Im happy...thanks.
