and of you have an ATI GC, look in control panel if demo mode is active.

any idea why I can't play that video?
Also Graphstudio can't render the file.

After I remuxxed it into a mkv container, it works. So its not really a big deal, but...

Try TEST SAF5 build. If not help, please post your SAF logs and small sample of not working AVI, i will take a look.

it seems to me, that this file is somehow corrupt. In mpc I can play it.
And other avi files are also playing well.

I'm using MP 1.1.0 Final right now and installed SAF 5.0 beta
But reading your first post... I assume that "Note: Not needed in RC6 or newer." has to do with the patch mentioned above in the first post?

Yep it is set to FFDShow DXVA. It is working as expected in the supplied MPC-HC which I can confirm with GraphStudio. I have not tested loading the file in graph studio itself however. Using latest SAF5 beta

No idea what failing to load DXVA decoder in MePo.
Can you try play this file in MePo and post MePo LOGs then?

I use Mediaportal 1.1.0 Final

My Problem is i have a red line in the middel of my screen.

The line is vertical !

How I disable this line ?

The patch was added in to MePo already, if you have 1.1.0 no need to care.

If you are on Catalyst this normally indicates you are running the demo mode. This means on one side you see the picture unaltered and on the other side you see the picture where postprocessing is applied. On Catlyst video settings on the last tab you will find a radio button to disable the demo mode.

Today I installed the SVN100715 of your Codecs on Mediaportal 1.1 Final.

On Install it comes the Error wrong MP Version - I should upgrade !?

So, I ignore that and it goes on. It works fine now.

What happend ? Am I right to ignore that ?

Well, i cannot change the sound line...
Thats bad, cause I have often dual language files. German and English, and when i want to change to audio line... I see MediaPortal want to change it ... but still the same sound
Any Idea?

I've installed SAF 4 and then SAF 5 to try them, but they make Bluray playback in TMT VERY jerky.

Any ideas why?
