SAF 5.00 SVN100726:
- ALL - MPC-HC filters/player updated to rev. 1.3.2138 (aleksoid build)
- ALL - clean possible registry mess (fix AVI playback)
- ALL - readded MPC - Avi Splitter (again...) to fix some not working AVi files
- ALL - support for MePo 1.1.0.0

I've installed SAF 4 and then SAF 5 to try them, but they make Bluray playback in TMT VERY jerky.

Any ideas why?

Hi,

any idea why I can't play that video?
Also Graphstudio can't render the file.

After I remuxxed it into a mkv container, it works. So its not really a big deal, but...

Try TEST SAF5 build. If not help, please post your SAF logs and small sample of not working AVI, i will take a look.

it seems to me, that this file is somehow corrupt. In mpc I can play it.
And other avi files are also playing well.

Well, i cannot change the sound line...
Thats bad, cause I have often dual language files. German and English, and when i want to change to audio line... I see MediaPortal want to change it ... but still the same sound
Any Idea?

Is it possible to integrate an actual bought and paid PDVD10 decoder (+ splitter) into SAF? And maybe there at least any advantages?

What we're trying to find out is if it's possible to use PDVD10 with SAF. (So can we install SAF and PDVD10 and use the PDVD10 decoder and FLV splitter in MP?

I think yes. You need to have latest PDVD version and install SAF as last one. If you will update MePo/PDVD, you need to update SAF too.

BTW, please report to PDVD team thier decoder doesnot work correctly with BBC HD...

I will report the BBC HD issue...(even though I don't have BBC HD). What is the exact problem? Are there other channels with the same problem?
Because all my channels work ok under PDVD9...accept I have problems on FOXLife. Only that channel (and I believe some other channel, but can't remember which one) has heavy (I think codec related) 'crackling' video and audio.

Try to play it in PDVD with DXVA on, it will be droping frames (stuttering), only MS DXVA decoder curently working fine.

I don't know if it's VC-1.

It was on the rental version of Book of Eli.

The previews were unwatchable, but when I finally got to the movie, it seemed to work just fine.

I did happened to notice that my AVR was flipping back and forth between Prologic II and something else I couldn't catch.

My receiver can't decode DTS-HD and TrueHD, but all the others.

Would it be best if I set all audio to be sent as LPCM? If so, how do I do that?

I have a problem with my HTPC.

First time i use the pc with XP, and MP 1.0.2.0, Core AVC 2.0. The MP is play all movies for me. avi, mkv, 720, 1080 The processor usage 20-30%.

Now i change the os. Win 7, MP 1.1.0, CoreAVC 2.0. And the 1080 movies use the processor 100%. I try everything but not help... Today reinstall the os. Use the W7, Mp 1.1.0, Saf500svn100726. Setup the MP. All movie played but all of 1080 movie say, CAN'T PLAY, VIDEO CODEC AVC. How can i setup? Why not working with W7? The MPC-HC play all movies.

You enabled passthrough?

You didnt wrote the most important thing - does your video play in graphstudio?
