Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Passthrough of everything and changed something in subtitles to adjust the ffdshow patch for MP. And changed something for dvax as well.

Hmm well, it's not fun to change them between each update :)

Btw. do you know how to move subtitles into the black area? I have black bars when playing 720p so subtitles should be moved down there and not be shown "in the movie".

there is no need to export each one separatelly, all seting are exported (your 3 files are the same).

And what did you changed for DXvA? :)

Yes, disable DXVA.

This is not possible if DXVA is on.

Just a big thank you, so far I haven't found any problems with this release even all the online videos seem to work fine. In version 4.0 I had several issues with this.

AW: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Hi I have just installed SAF 5.0 newest built, so far it works fine. I have only one Problem, with SAF 5.0 I can't Play the most of my .mkv files. With SAF 4.0 final they worked fine.

Has anyone a solution for this issue?

    @ andijeg

    similar problem but different play-part:

in my case it was a HDTV problem (DVB-S2)
used PDVD10 (SAF5.0) but there was no sound -
had to change the FFDaudio-decoder settings
(just enabled post-processing - like it was in SAF4.0 for Video)

    and it also worked ...

You mean to add FFDShow Audio decoder to MePo postprocessing?

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

    Hi,
I've just upgraded to MP1.1 after using 1.02 for a long time with SAF4 beta 22. As well as upgrading I also upgraded to SAF4 release. Most things are fine however I've been seeing problems with BBC-HD and recordings made from BBC-HD. Basically with SAF4 release and with the latest version of SAF5 I get jumpy playback of BBC-HD (both live and recorded) when using the PDVD codec (as provided with unlocked SAF). Also I'm not able to view BBC-HD (or recordings) with any of the alternate H264 codecs supplied with SAF. I am however able to watch ITV1-HD and playback recordings made from ITV1-HD. I found that if I revert back to SAF4 beta 22 (which I think had the none combined PDVD codec), then BBC-HD content plays fine...

I've no idea what is causing the problem but it is easy fro me to switch between the various versions so if I can help work out what is going on please let me know...

    Hi.
Knowh problem of DPVD. If you have Win7 use MS decoder for live TV, it is only one working.
