Hi.
With FFDShow selected for H264 I get no playback at all of BBC-HD recorded streams. Is this what is expected or have I got some problem with my setup. Other recorded HD streams (from ITV-HD) seem to play OK with this codec...

Right now only working DXVA decoder for BBC HD is Win7 MS video decoder.

MPEG2 doesn't work for me at all in MP. Isn't it possible to get mpeg2 hardware acceleration? Or do I have to use WMP as external player?

What GPU do you have? It looks like it have problems with NV12 colorspaces...

MPEG-2 DXVA is useless it only give you problems...

MPEG2 1080i = 100% cpu with software decoder
GPU = nvidia ion (geforce 9400)

well, i installed windows 7 32 bit with my HD 4670 graphic card and HDTV ist not going.
HD TV is not running smooth, just lagging. I can choose PowerDVD, Microsoft Standard Codec and FFDSHOW x264.. nothing is working.
I am very sad about this... bought a SSD and now nothing works with mediaportal on Win7 32 bit...
Any ideas? I need to run DXVA on TV cause my CPU is just a Athlon II 240. 2GB Ram

SD TV is working fine... just HD sucks.. Discovery HD is not running smooth... audio is ok..

Yes, 9400 doesnot have enought power to deinterlace MPEG-2 FullHD :/ Decoding MPEG-2 will eat only few % of CPU power, bude deintelacing eat all of 9400 possibilities.

Hi - I'm new to MP. My plan is to install MP 1.1, Streamed MP and SAF 5.0. I'd also like to setup TMT3 to watch Bluray (But in no hurry to do so). Should I install TMT3 before SAF 5.0 or the sequence doenst matter?

If the sequence doesn't matter I'll probably delay the TMT3 install to make sure everything is working fine before adding additonal variables.

I don't want to mess up my codecs right off the bat. Thanks!

Huburg do you think PowerDVD is working to get there Codecs working with DXVA in Windows 7?
Cause in WindowsXP i didnt have any problems at all. But in Windows 7, HD is very choppy, and sometimes, i just get no pictures at all, just every 3 sec another one, and only with many pixel errors...

I think Windows 7 Codec cannot decode 1080i channels very good.
