Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

EDIT:
I just try to tun this stupid test on my Win7x64 and all was finished without any error...

At some point in the development of SAF (cannot remember if it was version 4 or 5) I noticed as well that the performance tests failed on some video stuff. Guess that was related to some specific codec setting. It has worked again for a very very long time. So if someone is still having issues with that: update !

Hi Hoborg,
I'll give this a try as soon as I can. Not sure if it makes any difference or not but my system is 32bit Windows 7 (so perhaps the test does not load 32bit filters when run on 64bit systems?)... Will let you know what happens...

Andy

Yes, that it possible.

If I install this then a lot of my video files that are all h.264/avc etc. won't play anymore. If I install haali media splitter then they work (they are a mixture of .ts and mkv files) but then I lose the ability to play dts hd and dolby true hd soundtracks. Anyone know why?

Your files have wrong extensions maybe... Like if you rename TS recording to MKV.
Does they play in graphstudio?

Yes, I thought that might be the case but I've tried renaming between .ts and .mkv and it doesn't seem to help.

Second problem can be that you enabled audio passthrough or you add FFDShow audio decoder to MePo postprocessing.

I am asking again - does your MKV play in graphstudio?

Yes sorry, they all play in graphstudio.

= MePo issue, not SAF.

Ok, but why do they work fine with haali splitter and not the matroskasplitter.ax?

Cay you reproduce your issue in MePo and post MePo debug logs? Just make sure you dont have FFDShow audio decoder in MePo postprocessing.
