Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

I here only noise at te moment with none mp3 sound.
I tryed to reinstall SAF5 also an older version but no effect.
Now i have looked in the graph studio and what is see is:
ffdshow Audio decoder>Dscaler Decoder>ffdshow Audio decoder 0002> Dscaler Decoder 0004>Default direct audio device

I think that`s not good;)

Ps. I use passtrough HDMI.

In the MP configuration i messed with dscaler settings i have put both the SPidf options if and dscaler is now out graphstudio.
I did also a delete>reboot>reinstall. but still noise or no sound :(

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Hi Hoborg,

In my old standalone installation of ffdshow, I used to have a Volume filter in the Audio Decoder part of ffdshow which allowed me to boost volumes of certain channels.

In the ffdshow which comes with SAF, this seems to be missing.

Is there any way to get this back without messing up my SAF installation as I am having trouble with loud music and quiet dialogue in movies which I was able to fix with the Volume panel.

Thanks,

VLC is not DirectShow based player, it have nothing to do with MePo/SAF/MPC-HC,etc...
Run Graphstudio, Graphs - instert filter - look for DScaler audio decoder, hit unregister.

Run Graphstudio, Graphs - instert filter - look for DScaler audio decoder, hit unregister.

Still no luck, What i also noticed is that there isnt a splitter in the graph.
The files that work (mp3 audio) uses the mpc HC splitter.
