Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Yeah some videos play fine but not all.

Try to change HW acceleration in FFDShow DXVA decoder from normal to ignore numbers of ref. frames.

That fixed Australia. Playing fine with DXVA now. Now only Avatar is left.

It's played by using Armandp's bluray plugin

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Strange problem here,

Installed SAF V5.00: all movies play fine exept .mkv with mpeg 2 codec there is no video codec to play the movie.
when opening the movie in graphstudio there is no codec to play the movie.

when i install SAF V4.00: The .mkv playes fine with the ffd codec. but not with dxva.
How can i make this work with SAF V5.00 and dxva support.

Can you provide small sample? Did you unlocked SAF?

No i have a locked version.
when i make a sample with mkvmerge the sample plays  the whole movie not.
Strange problem. i have it with 10 mkv files. powerdvd10 does play the movie files.
so i can't make a sample because it works to me also... a whole movie doesn't
Hope you can help.

Got any solution???

I am still waiting for any video sample to reproduce your issue...

BTW, did you tryed simply remux your MKV with latest MKVmerge (without splitting)?

It's decrypted and playing fine. Mpls is the playlist format. This is the file the bluray plugin locates, open first and ask you to choose which stream you want to watch. Some blurays have dircut and normal cut. And this is where you choose :) Different cut has different playlist.

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Maybe this was answered earlier, so I appologize in advance if it was....

What is the difference between the pdvd 10 video decoder and the other one that's listed as pdvd 10 sp/video decoder?

Also I just want to say I noticed a HUGE video quality increase with this version over saf 4.0. Excellent job, and thanks for your hard work on this!
