Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)
Strange.
Merit change working on my Win7 setup, but i newer try it on Vista.
I have here only XP, but yes, EVR working for me.
Do another test:
If you double click on your MPEG-1 sample, it should be opened in MPC-HC - if not, start MPC-HC and play it here.
Just make sure you have EVR or EVR-CP as renderer (SAF should preconfigure all of this settings).
If video play here using EVR/EVR-CP too, then it seems that MePo EVR doesnot like your GPU...
To be sure - if you play MPEG-2 file *.MPG, does it works or not?
Again - i am on ICQ, if you can contact me, it will be faster to comunicate...
Hi,
I have restarted for the second time after installing SAF, and when I render the file in graphstudio, I still have VMR video renderer by default.
Either way, since it plays with VMR or EVR in graphstudio, it should do the same in MP, right?
I think my solution of disabling MPEG1 in ffdshow is probably the simplest, but if you do want to find a solution, I am more than happy to help.
Just to confirm, when you play this in MediaPortal with EVR, it still plays fine?
