    Hi,

any idea why I can't play that video?
Also Graphstudio can't render the file.

After I remuxxed it into a mkv container, it works. So its not really a big deal, but... ;):D

Does the unlocked 5.0 test come with the PowerDVD FLVsplitter? If so, where is it located after installation?

Try TEST SAF5 build. If not help, please post your SAF logs and small sample of not working AVI, i will take a look.

Yep it is set to FFDShow DXVA. It is working as expected in the supplied MPC-HC which I can confirm with GraphStudio. I have not tested loading the file in graph studio itself however. Using latest SAF5 beta

No idea what failing to load DXVA decoder in MePo.
Can you try play this file in MePo and post MePo LOGs then?

    Hi Hoborg,

I have just played the file in MediaPortal and MPC-HC. Please find logs for media portal and graphedit screenshots attached.

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

    Hello all,

I use saf 5 on a newely installed mp rc6 on my newely build htpc
Before i installed saf i deinstalled all codecs and ran ccleaner to remove any possible remains of codec shark.

I went from my motherboard ( 890gx) to my receiver ( amp) by a optical spdif.

Here comes the problem : i do get sound ! BUT my subwoofer ( active one , with own amp) isn't activated.
Ofcourse i set fddshow audio as spdif passthrough. What else can i do to get my subwoofer to produce sound? The source i use is a dvd file ( video_ts) AVATAR with 5.1 sound so thats certainly not the problem . ( btw i had exactly the same problems before with my old configuration and for the record my sub is not broken! )

What should i do? cause i haven't got a clue!

    Niels

A bit dumb perhaps , but i had to turn on my sub on reveiver :oops:............solved :sorry:

    Hi Hoborg,

Is it ossible to integrate the PDVD10 decoder (and the PDVD10 flv splitter) into SAF unlocked?

Probably not. I assume it has to do with the fact that you really SHOULD pay for PDVD10 etc.

Looking into it it seems to be a problem with the Blu-Ray handler plugin. The same file in MovingPictures plays correctly. Sorry to waste your time.

hmm, interesting.. again, is it possible to integrate an actual bought and paid PDVD10 decoder (+ splitter) into SAF? And maybe there at least any advantages?
