HI,
I am still trying to make LAV work (using saf600_110829.exe):
- with ffdshow Audio, my HTPC with MediaPortal 1.2.0 RC works fine
- without ffdshow Audio, MediaPortal hangs on Watch Live TV.

I tried to open a file in GraphStudio:
- When opening a recording in GraphStudio, I only get the video filters (graphstudio1.png)
- I select Graph > Insert Audio renderer > Default WaveOut Device (graphstudio2.png)
- I connect the Audio pins: LAV appears (graphstudio3.png)
- Trying to play the file makes GraphStudio hang exactly like MediaPortal (graphstudio4.png) ("Ne répond pas" = "Does not respond")

Any hint?

Shouldn’t you use Default DirectSound Device?

Hello,
I thought both could work.
In my case this is even worse with Default DirectSound Device.
- MediaPortal has the same behaviour
- When I add it into GraphStudio, I cannot connect the Audio pins together like I did with Default WaveOut Device (graphstudio5.png)
- Then I have to manually insert "LAV Audio Decoder"
- But I still cannot connect it to Default DirectSound Device (graphstudio6.png)

May be you enabled audio passthrough durning SAF install?

No, I didn't. I have an analog receiver and I don't use SPDIF (Asus Xonar D2).

I was re-downloading my saf key and kaspersky told me about a Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.sveu in the file. May you check please?

False detection. I am surprised that Kaspersy still didnt fix it...

Hello,

i have a movie in .rat format. When i will play, an message comes with audio codec : AC-3 and i can't play this movie. In the past, i can play the movie, but there was on saf 5 with ffdshow for audio. Now i use saf 6 with lav audio for all audioformats and the error comes. But all my rest movies works fine.
