    Hi there,

While playing the Bluray through MePo, load up Graphstudio, and post the screen capture of what it is saying, along with the MePo logs (while in debug mode)

    Hi,

one question to all of you.
But first - many thanks to Hoborg for his work and I am proud, that he is from my country :)

I have Win 7 with AMD card and latest MP with StreamedMP skin.
I was trying all codecs from (not only) SAF package for live TV and I found Cyberlink as the best.
But I have one small, but annoying issue with it - when I show mini EPG, it randomly flashing (miniEPG disapears for a milisecond).
I know it is not a big deal, but as I said - very annoying.

So, I know it is not SAF problem, but some bug with my configuration (skin, AMD card, etc).

And I want to ask, if someone have (or had) same problem? Or someone have some tips how to solve this problem?

    Thanks.

I run MediaPortal on a Radeon 3200 and I don't have a flashing miniEPG. I used to have flicker in TVHome and in TVGuide, but lately I haven't had them. Using newest drivers for my board have apparently solved the issue.

What you experience is probably the same as others ATi/AMD user have seen. The GUI may sometimes flicker when you are using EVR on Vista or Windows 7. There are like a million threads in the forum about it, and several hacks have been tried. going with a newer chipset or Nvidia is the only easy solution ;)

Yes, meanwhile, I did some research and found, that it is common problem for ATI users. Today I´ll try to update all drivers and see if it helps. If not, I´ll have to find another codec, because getting other card isn´t possible (I built HTPC with integrated card for some reason).
And for sure I´ll try to search all possible hacks in the forum...

Anyway, thanks for your opinions :)

Using different decoder wont help. This happend on all DXVA decoders.

Using HAM based decoder could help.

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

What is HAM based decoder? Any example?

    Btw.
MPC codec worked well until I installed DVB-S2 card. From then it has problem with fast movement and looks often like a "slow motion".
And has problems with some satellite programs - freezing and shuttering.
I tried also ffdshow, but it had worst picture quality and a small delay from audio (very small - you can´t see it, but you feel it:)
So this is the reason why I´m looking for another TV codec and tried new SAF package (I had previously SAF 5 with PDVD 10 and same bug).
Cyberlink codec is great - nice picture, no audio delay, no shuttering, no slow motion, no HD problem, but .... this small flickering :D

Now I´m installing latest ATI driver and when I´ll be at home I´ll check if it helped :)
