Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

i know it has nothing to do with...it's just i bought Panasonics PT-AE2000E 1080p projector, and i would like to watch my movies/series in 24P. when i set it true MPC-HC the videa and audio are not in sync. Audio is before video for maybe 100-200 ms. If i run same video in MePo, video and audio are in sync but video playback is kind of jerky. like there is frame drop every sec or two??? Any Idea. i have onlySAF6 installed on my PC. and MePo and everything is set like tutorial on the first page of this thread.....:D

I have the same CPU in my htpc, not overclocked, and i also had a ATI 5770 before i swapped it for a Nvidia GTS450. Have you tried to use the LavVideo decoder, it worked great with my system, but for DVD i have Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder.
Also in LavAudio you can enable audio delay.
And in MP i use Dynamic Refresh Rate Control.

Yep you have to PM Hoborg ( see first thread, or somewhere else ofcourse) and ask for unlocked saf. Hoborg will explain what to do. Some files u have to place somewhere in MP directory.

    Hi guys,

I am running SAF6 but using FFDshow audio (spdif output)

I have an MKV that does not want to play (tried it in GS and MePo - neither work) :(

    VLC plays it fine.

GS reports LAV splitter, ffdshow DXVA with ffdshow audio.

If I disable DXVA (and just use standard ffdshow video) it still does not play.

When I enabled AC3 encode (spdif out) in ffdshow audio to see if that fixes it. This then changes the audio codec to MPC/MPA decoder, which allows the movie to play, but with bad results (see attached).

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks,

    J.

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

    hoborg

Is it possible to create .reg files depending on pass-through settings in LAVaudio? Ffdshow made it easy with a export button but can it be done with LAV with a little trick? I have the reg files in ffdshow mapped to button on my remote so I can easily merge them when changing between output to tv/avr.

Like to have the possibility to it with LAV also.

    Thanks

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

    Hi Henric-a,
    thank you so much!
I read your post yesterday and tried the "reg file".

    But....I have a problem with DTS S/PDIF.
If I change AudioRender (HDMI to S/PDIF) once I get stereo sound in my amp.
If I make the change a second time (S/PDIF to HDMI and then HDMI to S/PDIF) the DTS LED amplifier begins to flash en the sound is scratched.
I also tried to delete the W7_reg_key posted by hoborg (#1335) but do not solve anything.

    Have u got any suggestions?

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

I don't have a receiver but just use the outputs on my soundcard for 5.1.

Is there a way to use my remote to switch between profiles in ffdshow, one that mixes everything down to stereo for when I don't want to use my extra speakers, and one which will output to all my speakers?
