Thanks, but the deinterlacing filter is not checked by default. Is OK?
Yes. MPEG-2 is output as NV12 = you will have HW deinterlacing in use.

I'm sorry but my english is not very good, probably I explained badly.
You told me that the difference between "200_MPEG-2 SD (DVD/LiveTV)Local" profile and the "210_MPEG-2 HD (LiveTV/Local)" is that HD have deinterlacing option.
But deinterlacing option in HD profile is disable by defaut too, so both profiles are identical (by default).
...... or not?![]()
I tried installing SAF 6.02 to try to cure my problem of MKVs with FLAC audio not having sound. Although it did fix that problem, I wasn't very impressed, for three reasons:
1) The version of ffdshow installed with SAF didn't have all of the audio options that Beta 7 has (e.g. the "Volume" section).
2) When I then installed SAF without ffdshow, I couldn't install ffdshow myself (config windows just wouldn't open).
3) When I uninstalled SAF, my FLAC-in-MKV problem was still fixed. Technically this is great news for me but his means that the uninstall process doesn't completely undo everything the SAF installer does, which is bad.
Currently I have SAF uninstalled and am back to my three-pronged-attack of LAV Filters, Haali Media Splitter and ffdshow. Between them, they are currently handling everything.

Where exactly can I add these options?hoborg said:Hi.
1) it have, but they are hidden - you can add it in FFDshow settings. They are hidden by default, becouse i try to make SAF as easy as possible.
Well because of the missing options of course...also, I didn't know ffdshow was always installed even if it was unticked in the installer. Not very intuitive.hoborg said:2) and why you want to install FFDshow over FFDshow? Durning SAf install, you can only disable FFDshow audio decoder, not whole FFDshow.
Maybe but I don't exactly have many codecs installed - like I said above, LAV Filters and ffdshow were the only ones AFAIK.hoborg said:3) maybe you had some mess in registry which was fixed by SAF

I see, thank you.START - SAF - FFDshow - Audio decoder configuration - here Show/hide filters - you can add what do you like
From what I remember, I just unticked "ffdshow" in the installer. There was no mention of it just being the audio decoder. In SAF installer there is a FFDshow Audio decoder - that is not intuitive?![]()
Sure but what would've messed up the registry if it wasn't a codec/filter or codec/filter installer?I was not speaking about codecs, but about mess in registry.
Then check that againFrom what I remember, I just unticked "ffdshow" in the installer. There was no mention of it just being the audio decoder.
It is hard to say what was wrong on your old system config.Sure but what would've messed up the registry if it wasn't a codec/filter or codec/filter installer?
