Codecs SAF v6 (based on LAVF) (10 Viewers)

Is there no possibility for vc1 with dxva with the current version? If I activate dxva for vc1 in ffdshow-dxva video decoder it crashes in the microsoft runtime, when I start a movie. I thought it was working in previous releases? Does the PDVD or Microsoft codec not support vc1?

VC-1 decoding is broken in SAF 6.0.2 in certain VC-1 files (bug in FFDshow). It was fixed in this SAF test release.

MP is configured to use PDVD11 decoder, but it falls back to FFDShow, when I start a VC-1 movie. Is there something to change, so that PDVD is used for VC-1?

Open FFDshow setting and disable VC-1 in decoders settings.

Anybody else experiencing speed issues? If i use SAF5 the movie starts almost instantly, with SAF6 it takes about 8 seconds (HD Lord of the Rings .i.e.).

From what source? I think LAV splitter was a little slower on file opening, MKV have a litte stuterring on begin (cashing?). Nev did some tweeks on this for next LAV. But 8s? That is too much - does the same happend in Graphstudio?

I just tested biggest MKV i have here (10GB) from network and it open and play nearly instantly in Graphstudio

I had to decrease the merit of DMO WMVideo Decoder and ffdshow video decoder. Now, dropping the file into graphstudio it plays fine with PDVD and Lav audio, but appanrenty its not playing from MePo:

Does anyone has the same problem - that PDVD codec is not working with VC-1 in MediaPortal? Is it working for somebody?

Thanks for the hint, but still issues with playback of this file! With VC-1 enabled in ffdshow settings playback doesn't work (MP & Graphstudio), with VC-1 disabled playback works, but fully out of sync (15 sec)!
