Codecs SAF v6 (based on LAVF) (2 Viewers)

I use DXVA technologie ! it's real, it's an old CPU / system but this work great with Alex, i don't use post processing, ... my tv is old ! lol

and use DXVA, made less TDP from CPU ... less sound ...
I can't upgrade , now, i want buy home ...
PS : my cellular had 6 years old ! lol

French HOUSE, are expensive compared to price of life

For SAF, For me CPU is used only for task, no video décoding ... (only video SD use CPU)
Actually PDVD codec are used for DVD

Hi all
Yesterday I upgraded from V6.1.3 to V6.1.4 SAF, then, watching a DVD (via ISO image, as I always do) I noticed a flaw: if I pause the movie, then when I press play, stops playback and interface MePo, until I press stop. However, if I move with the "skip steps" everything looks okay...
I then tried the same thing with files MKV, DivX and also with ISO images to Blu-ray, but with these works, while all DVDs have a problem putting them pause.
The strange thing is that using MPC-HC (ie outside MePo) pause/play DVD works.
'Tis some time since I watched DVD, so I can not tell if the defect has appeared after the update...

What can it be?

Well, it is hard to say. There will be some DVD playback fixes in next LAV release, so maybe it will be good to wait a bit.
Try to disable YADIF deinterlacing in LAV Video decoder - it is enabled by SAF default settings.
But if it is working outside MePo, it can be MePo issue.

I tried to disable YADIF but nothing changes, I have also tried to set ffdshow for DVD playback, but the problem is still there ..
Playback, after the break, it is actually almost completely blocked, occasionally has a few shots .. strange

It only happens to me or someone else notice this behavior?

Well, older SAF using FFDshow for DVD decoding, so maybe MePo need some modification to work better with LAV as DVD decoder.
As i wrote already, there will be more DVD related updates in next LAV.
