Yes.
SAF 6.2.2 is nearly ready, i just need to fix some Win 8.1 issues.
Fist one is non stoping explorer.exe crashing on my win 8.1 preview (not caused by SAF).

I am having slow playback on RMVB with SAF
When i click on the movie, it took about 20 seconds to play and i am using LAV decoder.

I also tried playing it directly from mediaplayer classic and the playback is instant.

After numerous testing, i fall back to mediaportal 1.2.3 which is using gabest codec as the default codec and the playback almost instant.

any advise ??

Hi.
SAF, by default does not use LAVF for playing RM/RMVB files (only audio is decoded by LAVF audio dcoder). Try it yourself. Open graphstudio - START-SAF-Tools-Graphstudio. Drag and drop your file to Graphstudio and hit play.
I bet MePo override this and force usage of LAVF filters instead of SAF default.

Just checked with Graph StudioNex and MPV RealVideo Decoder is the video decorder and Lav for decoding the audio.

How do we configure Mepo to use Mpv RealVideo Decoder for playing rmvb file?

I don't think you can tell MePo to use a specific video codec for rmvb files only.
