After getting distorted display for a lot of series (mkv h.264) i reverted back to 5.02
When there is a new version i will test again!

Hi RikP, I've the same problems with many mkv series, I haven't installed the new saf, but hoborg said then by playing one of my samples that it's a problem with DXVA, I configured MePo to use FFDSHOW video decoder and not ffdshow - DXVA for h.264 and the problem has gone, I'll try to install the new saf today and see if the problem is fixed.

I've the same problems with many mkv series

Bad encoding, I use PDVD11 codec with dxva and no problems whatsoever, or is this a nvidia versus ati playback again

Was able to resolve my issue by restoring an old back up. The issue I have now is that DOLBY True HD is not being passthrough, DTS MASTER goes through fine. All are enabled in LAV when open in Graphstudio no audio stream is generated for m2ts file. occurring on all files with D True HD Tracks. Any thought it seems as a codec is missing.

Yes.

The problem with MP4 FPS>49 relates to video FPS parameter? has it anythong to do with setting the video card to 720P & 50Hz?

Yes, there was a wrong parametr. And no, it have nothing to do with output signal.

Hello Hoborg,

I installed the latest SAF (july 18th). It looks like the FFDSHOW DXVA decoder doesn't work correctly, since my CPU tops (and my video doesn't play back properly).
Geforce 9450, MediaPortal 1.2.0 beta.

edit: will try to play in Graphstudio first, as requested.

edit2: after some testing, it seems other sources work fine on the FFDShow DXVA decoder. So it looks like a bad encode

I think so too, but playing with ffdshow - no DXVA solves the problem, so something must be (or was) wrong with ffdshow - DXVA, my video card is ATI, and I like DXVA because of excellent subtitles handling. I guess PDVD11 has no subtitles support like DXVA, am I right? I don't have the unlocked version of saf, but if you say it can handle subtitles, I'll PM hoborg about the subject.

Anyway, maybe the new version of saf with a newer version of ffdshow-DXVA solves my blue-ray MKV rips artifacts problem.
