Tried the latest SAF.
"- FFDshow audio decoder/processor is now selectable component" Where/what is it? "You can configure FFDShow audio decoder from START-SAF-FFShow-configure FFDshow audio decoder." only Video and DXVA are there.
In graphstudio. Receiver now shows DTS-HD MA on input! but either Atom 330 ION is too slow (though cpu utilization is 6%) or something is wrong in LAV audio passthrough there is no good sound at output and video is slow. It works well if hd audio passthrough is disabled.

Hi Hoborg, first i would say thx to a great saf work!!!
But.....
Some kinda problem here.Since i upgradet my machine to saf6 i got strange things here.
First when i take the settings from your first post all mp3 mpg4 files have heavy stuttering, sound is normal.
In ffdshow i must take the other profiles in the settings to make videos work. but frames are dropping heavily.
Now i have all codecs set to cyberlink......all work fine here but.......iget crazy......videos take up to 2 minutes to start.
Sounds wired i know...but when i choose a video (mp4 hdtv, mkv,and so on...)and hit the ok button to start it takes extrem long to start.
Video quality and sound is great then but the time to start is an impossible no go.
Hope you have any idea..... Thx a lot and greetz from Austria.
P.S.: I have an ION System 330 whit external TV Server and sound goes via toslink passthrough to receiver.
Saf 4 makes no problem and works great.

Atom ION 330 that can stream DTS-HD? I thought that wasn't possible with the ION330 chipset, HD audio only as Lpcm?

I have Atom CPU with intergated Intel GPU and all files are opened fast, but Atom is not capable to decode HD video of curse.
For the begining, try to disable audio passthrough, subtitles (durning SAF install) and do some tests in Graphstudio.

Follow the whole threats since saf 4.
I think passthrough is the better way to decode audio with the receiver. Hm....
One thing i have in mind is the filmerit tool, if i start the tool and the check for filters beginn
i have a bunch of errors in codecs and filters, some reasons for this, system maybe crashed and
damaged or something?

I see on Yamaha 467 receiver "DTS-HD HI RES" when DTS-HD passthrough is enabled in LAV, but can hear no sound itself. Probably it is because of ION hardware limitation, but I want to be sure

Well, I can tell you that you can see (under Windows 7) what formats the ION 330 can handle and you will notice that, by HDMI, only AC3 and DTS will be visible, no HD audio formats. Yes you are right. But I have receiver and it displays "DTS-HD HI RES" at hdmi input for ION as a source of hdmi video/audio. I'd be glad to know does DTRS-HD passthrough work for other people using SAF6 and LAV audio decoder on any hardware?
