SAF 6.00 SVN20110506:
- MPC-HC filters/player updated to rev. 1.5.2.3085
- FFDShow updated to rev.3840
- *unlocked* SAF will now use DivX AAC Decoder instead of MONOGRAM AAC Decoder
due to LATM support - UK HD (DVB-T2) broadcasts
- added SWE and RUS translations
- reworked SAF install script - SAF will now install only selected language

Did you remove MONOGRAM AAC as an option?

I SAF is locked, MONOGRAM is installed, if SAF is unlocked, DivX AAC is used instead.

Hi,

i would like to give a feedback for the SAF6 (110919):

Yesterday i deinstalled all non windows 7 codecs (HD Pack 2.6 / shark windows codecs)
and just installed the SAF.
And it worked out-of-the-box! I used the settings from page 1 (for audio)

DTS and DD5.1 was passed through my digital jack.
I just had to use the PDVD11 codec for h264 in live!

Windows 7 H264 and the ffdshow h264 codecs resulted in artifacts.
The DIVX one and the Acrsoft one also worked, but had lot more CPU-Usage than the PDVD codec.

You can change the color (and many things more) within the FFDshow configuration (DXVA and non DXVA) under > subtitles > font

Yes, it works for me!

It appears the issue was the Realtek driver. I switched to ATI Audio Driver and DD+ bitstreams fine.

Which means MONOGRAM is no longer an option in config.

This might be good - for some (UK DVB-T2 users, I guess), but for others I think dropping this in unlocked is not a good idea. I found DivX AAC to be less capable than Monogram using DVB-T from Norway.

LAV & AAC is not compatible with TsReader - http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=2831 . Just lacking resources to do that...

I hope too that LAV audio decoder will be everything we need in the future.

Hmm, i did some test with LATM AAC and it was working...

Maybe something has changed on LAV's side, TsReader at least haven't changed in that aspect.

Can the LAV video decoder be used on H.246 live tv? I currently use the PowerDVD11 but it is very slow when switching channels.
