I use SAF 6 with MP 1.2.1. I have .mkv and .m2ts files with multiple audio streams (DTS-HD 7.1, AC3 5.1, PCM 2.0).
Is there a way to have prefered audio stream automaticly played???

Some of mkv file i remuxed with ts muxer, and set priority. If i play file with MPC-HC, the prefered audio i played along with video, but in MediaPortal i get some random audio stream. Sure, i can switch it easy, but that's not the point...

I don't know which audio splitter MP is using, i have set everything as described in first page of this thread. (LAV filter)

SAF (LAV splitter) set stream acording prefered language tag. If not exist, it choose track with best quality.
You can easilly test this in Graphstudio.

But MePo blocking this and it is using it own "logic".
So this should be asked to some MePo dev, not here.

Is there a way to play bitstream dts audio files through MP (.dts, .wav extensions).
I only get static noise with both players (Internal an BASS player)

It should be working (you need to use LAV audio decoder).
Did you try it in Graphstudio?

Yes i did. Same thing. Only static!

my default audio device is Ati HD5770 HDMI Audio

Is there any property that i can try to change??? I have huge collection of dts music, and everything else is working fine with SAF6. Thank you!!!

except some VC-1/TrueHD video, which is not smooth, but i disabled VC-1 from ffdshow and now it's played ok??? don't know why is there problem with that file.

hi,,

i also encountered same problem with you in the past
afaik, mepo would use it's own prefered language first, then if not find will use from LAV splitter

so, just set your prefered language in lav splitter, and next is try to change in mepo settings
video, language tab, audio --> set to your least prefered, e.g. Kiswahili



this way, Mepo couldn't find that language, so it will read from lav splitter settings e.g. english
Mepo will use DTS-HD 7.1 automatically

Can you send me small sample?
It was working before, looks like it is broken for now.
Already reported to LAVF thread.

Hi,

I just used your "unlocked" codec pack today and set all the settings as you have in the screenshots in the first post. However, I'm still having some problems playing some HD video files. The ones that seem to be having the difficulties are mkv files with AVCHD & AC3. What happens is when I click on them, the screen just flashes and then it comes back to the MP TV Series menu and marks them as "read". I understand that you're not specifically the person to talk to about the TV Series plugin, but that's what is happening. Before installing your pack, I was getting an error that it couldn't play the file. Now, it "thinks" that it can play it, but nothing ends up happening.

Can you please suggest something that I can do to fix them? Any help would be appreciated!

As always - did you tryed to play your video in Graphstudio? START-SAF-Tools-Graphstudio, open and play your file here.
