If you're using ffdshow for video, you DON'T want to use 6.0.5. It leaks resources like there is no tomorrow (fixed in 6.0.6).

What is the cost and process to register SAF? I can't find info anywhere....
Cost is zero, click on hoborgs avatar, there you will see "start private conversation", ask for key, he will then give you a link to the unlock key to install "all" the codecs, then both the key and the SAF installer need to be in the same download folder when you run the SAF.exe

You can check for yourself if you have this issue with high quality RGB conversion.
If I would like to update to the newest ffdshow rev, what is the correct way to do that? I have the latest SAF installed (6.0.6).
Just simply install the latest downloaded ffdshow rev or should I point it to another install dir or anything?
BTW: is there a recommended stable version of ffdshow that is recommended to use (DXVA and plain SD)?
