Satelite/CableTV Provider: Cable TV - Kabel Deutschland

Hi,

today i wanted to give Media Portal a try, as i am not fully satisfied with the Terratec Home Cinema Application.

I downloaded the most recent Installer and clicked my way through the setup (want to watch tv, no HDTV, use TV-Server with MS SQL)

Installation went through without a problem.
Afterwards started the TV-Server Configuration. No Problem with loging into the DB.

I clicked my way through the menu to get via installed Device to the channel search.
The Cinergy 400 was reckognized without a problem...

I picked Germany as the country, set the source to cable and left the sensivity on medium.
Clicked on search for channels and it did something...at least the green bar was growing to the right...

But as it finished searching...there where no channels.
I tried different countries, different sensivities...even switched to antenna...

Nothing happend.

What´s going wrong here?

Most interesting is, that after doing a search with no result, i´m no longer able to navigate through the tv-server setup.
When i click in a point in the menu on the left, it changes the header, but not the content of the tabs...no matter where i click...

Can someone help me out?

I get the impression, that no one really cares about that :(

My card works without troubles using the Terratec Software, which i just don´t really like.
So it would be great to have mediaportal as an alternative...but it doesn´t look like it´s going to be like that

    Hi,
To get more attention you should attach the logs to your post after a scan, this will give us whats needed to check.

    Hi Roy,

Thanks for your interest in our predicament. I also am trying to scan for channels, but not finding any. Unlike the OP, mine doesn't stop responding after a scan, it simply finds nothing where other DVB apps would find channels. I'm using the exact same settings as in MyTheatre, where everything works perfectly. I'm trying to scan channels on Nimiq 1, using the custom LOF1 & 2 of 11250 Mhz on Ku-Circular. I've tried all the other band types as well with no luck. Attached are the log files after running a scan.

I'm running the RC2 of MediaPortal, TV Server .exe version 0.9.2.19657 (downloaded today) with a Hauppage WinTV Nova (recognized as "Hauppage WinTV 88x DVB-S Tuner/Demod" in device manager). Thanks in advance!
