I have about 20 clear QAM channels I'm trying to get to work. I got my analogue channels working before but these are confusing me. I tried a fresh scan and then running the plugin to let it figure it out. It mapped some channels but they were not right. My ATSC channel numbers do not match the schedule directs ones. I have to actually watch the channel to figure out what it is. I get about 100 channels but only 20 are not encrypted. How can I rename the ones I can use so that this plugin will recognize them? Can I just change the channel numbers?

Out of the blue, this has stopped working for me. Nothing has changed on my system in a long time. I have been happily using this since it came out. Now I just get "No data available" for every channel. I tried ticking the "force update on next restart", and restarted the tv server, but that didn't help. My schedules direct membership is still active. Any suggestions? Check my profile for system configuration. Thanks.

There is a Fill Holes checkbox in the EPG settings (NOT the SD plugin settings) that I populated, could it be possible that is working with the SD plugin to fill the no data holes?

I guess it is possible but I do nothing with that.
Everyday the plugin does check SD for the next 24 hours (default) for updated listings and will update the epg.

Try renaming the channels to the callsign.
Also try only selecting the channels you get in you listings @ SD if the plugin still gets confused.

    Yes

Wish this would work again. It was such a great plugin. Now MP is pretty much useless, at least for me. Oh well. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

    Multiple Lineups in SchedulesDirect

I am VERY new to MediaPortal (I've been a relatively-satisfied GB-PVR user for a couple of years), and am wondering how I would handle multiple SD lineups in MP (one for my Dish Network lineup -- svideo input on PVR150, the other for local OTA-ATSC channels - HVR950). In GB-PVR, Sub (author) implemented a little trick where you embedded the lineup "code" in your username field (e.g. "joeuser;DISH659:-"). Obviously, he was doing something under the hood (so to speak) to grab different listings from SD (in GB-PVR, an EPG "fetch" is associated with one input device -- thus, you have different SD login setup for each input device).

Am I missing something in MP? I guess I'm having a hard time even understanding how MP looks at the whole channel configuration thing when you have multiple input devices (2, in my case ). I think I've figured out that I need to use the SVHS #1 for my PVR150 svideo input (from Dish Network tuner) -- but do I have to *MANUALLY* add EVERY Dish Network channel before doing an EPG update? Or will this plugin know what to get and add it to my channel list? I guess this goes back to my original question about multiple SD lineups.

Is it obvious that I'm confused??!! :)

Thanks in advance for any channel setup guidelines from ANYONE (not just Patrick... thanks for the plugin, by the way).

I *think* I've got it working with RC4 (the latest plugin version -- 1.1a). If you read my earlier post, you'll note that I've only been experimenting with MP for a few days. However, I discovered that after setting up my login info in the SD plugin (with RC4), I came back the next day to find that my tv guide was populated with data from both SD lineups (one for Dish Network, and one for local OTA/ATSC channels). So I'd say it's working!! :)

    RC4 supported?
Has anyone got this working with MediaPortal RC4 and if so which Plugin version?

Yep, mine is working well. I don't know which version but I haven't checked for updates in a while and I've been using the same plug throughout at least every revision of the 1.0 release candidates...

Same here.... been working since last February. I did have to double check that my ID and Password were correct in the plugin... it is case-sensitive .... I had initial issues in RC4, but it was stupidusererror. I use the TV3 version 1.1a.

    regards,

    Chuck
