This might be a dumb suggestion, but it got me the first time I played with Schedules Direct..
Did you go to your profile at the Schedules Direct website and actually select the channels you need? The channels will not download until you specifically select them.
Also, there's a good set of instructions at the Schedules Direct website for debugging issues using xmltv.exe to make sure the EPG info is actually making it to your computer.
When you have everything set up correctly, the EPG download from Schedules Direct should only take a few minutes after you restart the TV service.
