Latest SVN breaks plugin again?

I tried the latest SVN (March 7) and it seems to break the new version from Wile.

I saw that they require .NET Framework 2 SP2 - is this an indication that the plugin needs to be recompiled?

EDIT: This is not a problem - it was caused by not uninstalling the TV server before installing the SVN version. A "clean" install does not exhibit the "Gentle Framework" problem that I had seen.

Thanks,
Sridhar

Hmmm...Im running the 3/7 SVN as well, and it seems to be working fine. What kind of errors are you getting? Could you post your logs?

    Thanks,
    Wile E.

As with WileE, I don't intend to take over maintenance of this plugin either, nor step on his build for that matter, but as I've been building against the latest SVN's anyway I'll share my build of this plugin for you Sridharb, if you feel like trying it.

This is built against the March 7th SVN, I also cleaned it up a bit , updated it so it would work with Visual Studio 2k8, and removed the 12 hour option/other minor fixes that Patrick last did with 1.1a. It works well enough for me, if it doesn't work for you make sure you post your logs.

    Hi Ixian,
sridharb had an installation issue, he's good now... Thanks for creating the new build though, I will let you carry the torch now ;)

Doh! Who will I pass this ball to? :)

BTW, could you PM me the source of the build you did? It looks a little different than mine and I cannot figure out where in the code I have. In particular you have different (and better) options for the last-minute changes part of the config, looks like.

I'm using your latest build of the SchedulesDirect plugin with the latest SVN..

For some reason, 3 of the 16 channels I subscribe to are showing "no data" in MediaPortal.
They had data last week, but no longer.
I used the XMLTV.exe program per SchedulesDirect suggestion, and I can pull data for the 3 problem channels just fine.

If it's any consolation, the 3 channels are KIONDT, CSPAN2 and CALCHAN.
What can I check to get to the bottom if this?

    Thanks!

    Chris

I assume you re-checked your EPG Grabber settings in the plugin and doing a forced update (set "update on net server startup" in the plugin config, exit, restart the TV service manually).

Have you tried deleting all your channels, setting the plugin to do an update as described above, re-mapping the channels to your card, then adding them back in the EPG Grabber?

If all else fails try doing a forced update by restarting the service, then post your logs.

Yes, I've done a few forced updates/TV service restarts now. I can confirm it's pulling down from watching the network traffic. It only seems to be an issue with just those 3 stations.

I'll try deleting the channels and reimporting them tonight.

    Thanks!

This may be a stupid question, but have you verified in Schedules Direct that the channels are selected to download? Just a thought...

That was my first thought too, check your lineup on the SD website. As long as the channels are named appropriately I haven't had problems with the guide lining up with the channels (knock on wood). :)
