"Select channel by index" nonfunction in TVGuide and everywhere for External Channels (1 Viewer)

I just confirmed that the SVN I'm running (rev10448) DOES work after unchecking the following:

Run "Setup MediaPortal"
Televsion: Uncheck "Select channel by index"

VERY nice! A HUGE catch and fix for STB channel changing.

It would be great to have it a user configurable option for 2-3 or whatever number of digits for the channel.

I also noticed that changing to an invalid channel number does drops to changing the channel by the index number as you have stated. It would be an excellent enhancement to have the nearest match. This is how DirecTV works for me as well.

Thanks and also thanks to mPod for getting it into SVN for me.

I'll have a look at it again later this week to see if I can figure out a better code for nearest match and also take a look at number of digits for channels.
