    Hi,

as title says, selecting the tab "Manual Control" in the TV-Server Configuration will interrupt DVB-EPG Grabbing or recordings (unless you're watching the currently being recorded show).

You can check by opening the "epg.log" after selecting "Manual Control"-tab, it will show a line like this:

    epg.log said:
    26.03.2007 17:43:29 EPG: grabber stopped..
    26.03.2007 17:43:29 EPG: card:1 stop grab
26.03.2007 17:43:42 EPG: grabber initialized for 10 transponders..

17:43:29 was the exact time I selected "Manual Control" while DVB-EPG Grabbing was being performed.

To check if recordings are being interrupted, just record a show (without watching in simultaneously) and watch it after, every time u clicked "Manual Control" you will experience lost frames.

    Kind Regards,
    Muldini

No, it should keep doing what it is doing unless I stop it.
Only choosing the menue point and checking what is going on shouldnt interrupt anything.

From your logic it should stop, but not interrrupt, both doesnt make sence though imo.

Is there any more info needed or is it maybe even the intended way? Some response would be nice.

    Kind Regards,
