now that i have web interface working, few suggestions, issues ...

suggestion 1: when unlocking a card with the X button, a refresh of the page is needed. maybe do this automatically?

suggestion 2: instead of Card Locked, maybe include also Grabbing EPG, Recording and timeshifting, just like tvserves status program does. maybe also include the channel its working on.

suggestion 3: in web interface configuration program - Logos section. include an import button that gets logos from thumbs folder. makes it quick to copy all logos to thumb folder and then just click that button instead of configuring each logo channel.

not a big issue, until i have noticed that recordings i send that include the symbol do not work. any idea on this? ive just noticed i only get this in one mux (3 channels).

question 1: is there any log file created by the app? trying to research into the strange symbol issue.

I only see a little problem : when a channel has many frequencies defined, it appears as many times as the number of frequencies

I think that I introduced this by mistake when I added the advanced sorting option based on the tuningDetails table.

When I am properly back on line, I will do a new version.

Hi Kev, i noticed that in the mediaportal epg guide i also get a square at the end of some titles. ive checked in 2 lcd tvs epg and there is no symbol there.

do you know which database or where is epg data stored (coming from dvt-t)? i think its not a web interface issue, but a mediaportal one. if u can answer tell me where epg is stored i can do some research before opening a new thread for dev to look at.

i hope the rest of my points were usefull.

I had to rescan on all my tuners. Since then I'm picking up duplicate channels in Web Interface.

I've set the default group to 'Freesat' and within MediaPortal I don't see these duplicates, where are they coming from and how can I get rid? Also the duplication doesn't show in TV Server channel setup.

You are the man Big_Kev! This is one powerful and fully featured addition to MP! This should be included in the TV-Server installation and it would be great if the configuration of the SQL/MySQL server could be automated. Downloading and installing the SQL/MySQL Management studio, adding a new user, and grand it the right permission could be a bit to much for some people who would also be delighted to have this option. Even though the setup instructions are just as good as the application itself!

MP Web Server Error 500

The Web Server has encountered the following error:

[AnyDAC][Phys][ODBC][Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'TvLibrary8.dboschedule'.

What dos it mean and how can I get rid of it?

i cant agree more, now that i have finally been able to configure it and try it, i must say its a "MUST" in as any other plugin included in mediaportal.

I have a annoying problem with IE only, not firefox or chrome. The first connection is usually but not always ok. After that I get the following error:

The webpage cannot be displayed

Most likely cause:
Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed.

What you can try:
Search online for a program you can use to view this web content.

Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.



Does anyone else get this?

Hi Kev,

there is a problem the recording quality setting. The web server sets 0 in the schedule table quality field.
