Hi there,

I have latest SVN (both server and clients).

I am watching DVB-S on Astra 19.2 with Technotrend Budget cards.
After I tune to for example Pro7 the server starts timeshifting (i see it in the management console) and the client starts playing ...
After a view seconds the client stops playing (MP does not crash) but the server is still timeshifting (Management Console). The same happens when I start timeshifting manually and use VLC for playback.

I am Using PowerDVD 7 codecs in MP. But the MPV/MPA Codecs did not change anything.

At the moment the client stops playback my streaming server.log writes:

Code:
26-07-2007 20:59:38 RTSP client session from 10.1.10.30 has timed out (due to inactivity) (0) (3c32d18)

Full log files are attached!
If you need some more logs or details please let me know!

Same problem here, only on remote clients. My single-seat instance works fine. Has anyone found a fix for this? Thanks.

I also have this problem since the latest SVN from yesterday. I can watch TV and after a while, lets say 15min, the picture freezes but I continue to hear sound. MP is not frozen. When I open the program guide and select a new channel then it works again (can then also switch to the previously watched channel), until after some time the problem appears again. Currently using Dscaler decoder.

I remember solving the problem by setting the IP on witch the TVservice listens... I have 2 NIC's an a VPN adapter... be sure to set the IP in the MMC and make shure that the clients connect to this IP.

e.g. My ip's are 10.1.10.10 and 10.1.10.11 so I set the TVService to listen only 10.1.10.11. My clients have the following entry in their "hosts"(located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

master 10.1.10.11

Give it a try :)

Just read something relevant, do a retune, apparently now finding duplicated channels, the originals you cannot connect to, new ones you can.

I am also having this problem with the newest svn (02-02-2008 15-29h Revision 17264). I get the error "RTSP client session from 10.1.10.160 has timed out (due to inactivity) (0) (4024bb8)" in "streaming server.log". It happens within a few seconds of when I try watching live or recorded tv. Let me know if you need anymore information. If anyone has found a resolution for this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still having this problem. If I reboot the server (not just restart tvservice) it works fine for a few hours.
