I installed the BDA Drivers. Now I have a multimedia device. It changes nothing. Same Problems

I've post you a screenshot from the tv-server management console. Is the signal quality a problem. With DVB Viewer i can watch tv.

OK. I'm back. No bones breaked. But I cannot get the signal stronger. It is a cheap quadro lnb.

But could that be the problem ? The 'old' Mediaportal works well with these signal strengh.

I have got the TVServer to work with about the same signal quality as yours (with a FloppyDTV card). But maby it could be that my card manages lower signal quality than yours.

So. I've installed MediaPortal 2.2.0 on the Server. And Surprise: I get the same stuttering pictures and sounds. And this problem is depending on the channel i wish to watch. In example the Channel "Ocko" make no problems, but "pro7" or "mtv" brings the known problem. In the next few days i try to adjust my sattalite dish.

Do somebody know a programm where i can watch the signal strengh and quality. The refreshing rate of Signalstrengh in the TV-Server Management Console is to slow and the Server4PC Tool from Technisat doesent work with the new BDA Driver.

Yes those are the "hardest to receive as their frequency can be influenced by e.g. DECT telephones and other devices.

There is a satellite finder from KNC1 but in general I doubt a tv card is very suitable to adjust the dish. Consider the "error correction" which applies to digital streams. This can add up to 2 seconds of delay...

A little sat-finder for 10 EUR does work well - or maybe you know someone with an analog receiver?

When I was in the need to align my dish I used FastSatfinder, both BDA and WDM cards are supported, and signal strenght is realtime.

First: I dont adjust my dish

Second: Could somebody tell why the normal skystar2 drivers works perfectly in old mediaportal and in dvbTEViewer, however the BDA are stuttering ?

What are the differences between the BDA Driver and the normal driver ?
