Server zapp fast / clients needs 5-7 seconds (1 Viewer)

I managed to fix my problem. I've enabled the option "prefer audiostream over language" in MP - Config/television/tv-client/audio settings. After disabled this option, the zapping speed decrease from 7 sec. to about 3-4 seconds. Not as fast as possible ... but for the moment it is ok in a multiseat setup.

MULTISEAT SETUP on a GiGLan

Hi guys!

I have a curios problem with the zapping speed.

If I switch to a channel I can see that the server streams the program in about 1 second (looking via VNC on the server). But the client needs 5-8 seconds after the server has switched the channel until I have a picture.

I deactivate both firewalls that is definitely not my problem.

Attached you'll find the logs (client and server / sorry I interchange the filemnames).


This problem is driving me crazy ... I tried all of the possible settings I knew ... but no way to figure out where the problem is.

Any idea ???

I don't want to bother you ... but this problem makes me crazy.

Maybe you need other logs or any other informations!?

Maybe another problem helps you to point me in the right direction ...

This problem exist on every client!
I've also periodic stutter/screen freezes (every two seconds for a short moment) in text scrolling or f.e. while I view my pictures with ken burn effects. It is also there if I press shift + ! The white vertical bar stops for a short moment. (In BasicHOme screen or any other menue). In the moment I stop the TV-Service on the Server (Multiseat setup), the stutter is gone. I disable all firewalls so this is not my problem.

If you need more Info or any other logs, plz let me know. I use MP since 3 Years now and found a solution for each problem ... but this ....
