Hello, all.
I am trying to move to TV3, and have moved my tuner cards to the server in the basement, along with the satellite STBs. I am now struggling with getting ServerBlaster to work to actually change the channel. Unfortunately, there's no documentation for this plugin here.
A few notes:
-I was running Server 2003 x64 successfully for cable input (no STB, no ServerBlaster) until I came to the conclusion that the eHome IR Transceiver couldn't work under x64, so I reinstalled Server 2003 using the 32-bit version last night. Server specs are here.
-(side note irritation, not relevent to this problem) In x64 the channel preview worked fine. Now, I get the preview window but it's blank.
-The eHome drivers I downloaded and installed. This gave me "eHome Infrared Receiver" in device manager. I also have "Infrared HID device" listed under Human Interface Devices, but it has a bang (!) next to it. I can't get this driver to work.
-Even with a potential driver problem, I was able to run the MCE Blaster Learn utility. It learn and tested fine, so I think the transceiver is actually working OK.
Here's what appears to be the relevent test of the tv.log file:
and from error.log:
Attached are the full Blaster.log, error.log and tv.log. (Use extended logging was set on ServerBlaster plugin.)
Thanks for any suggestions!
