Setting cycle view to default? (1 Viewer)

I just recently built an HTPC and I am using streamedmp in combination with moving pictures and mediaportal. I would also just like to say Streamedmp was what pushed me to finally get a HTPC. I had been debating it for a long time and then when I saw some one showing off streamedmp I had to have it.

I actually had questions. First I would like to know if it is possible to set the cycle view (displays covers) to default so when i select videos or music that comes up first instead of my current menu that lists things like: all movies, unwatched, genres... etc.

Secondly, I have seen other people do this and I can't figure out how to do it on my own. Basically, I want to creat two different video menus. One for my Bluray/HD movies and one for my normal DVDs. I know how to create the menus in the streamedMP editor but I can't figure out how to have those two menus access different video folders.

I hope this was the right place to post this. Thanks for help!

in MovingPictures configuration you can turn off Categories. This will take you straight to 'All Movies'.

It's not possible to take you to different folders in MyVideos/MovingPictures. What you probably saw was people loading their DVDs or Bluray rather than take them to particular folders.

You can create a category for each one in MovingPictures, but you wont be able to access them directly from the Home Menu. Or you can create a filter so you can filter them out in the All Movies list when you want to.

Thanks again! I think I finally got it all set up the way I want. Now to add my DVD collection to my HD and see if some one else besides me can operate the menu :).
