I have a server, where only the tvserver is installed. (Multiseat installation)

After upgrading TvServer from version 1.0 to 1.0.1 I get an exception everytime I start SetupTV. There where no errors during the installation.

The exception:
2009-04-14 08:37:01.514373 [SetupTv]: Exception : System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Der kunne ikke oprettes forbindelse, fordi destinationscomputeren aktivt nægtede det ::1:31456

I have tried to restart the service, restart the machine, completly remove tvserver from the machine and make a fresh installation. Port 31456 are open in the firewall, and I have even disabled Windows Firewall to insure, that it didn't block anything. All with the same result.

Please help.

    Solution found

    Hi,

I found the solution in another forum post:
    Windows Defender breaks localhost

The following line was missing in my hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\hosts):
    127.0.0.1 localhost

After I added that entry and saved, the SetupTV started as expected :)

And to ronilse, :D for your support.
