shiny stripe around the movie picture (1 Viewer)

This only happend when video decoder are directly connected to VMR9/EVR.
I believe this is somehow related to video resizing...

EDIT:
Ok, i did some more research about this problem, and i think i found where the problem is.
VMR9 needs to use 3D surface to render correct picture (not sure about EVR).

So, nobody have fix for that ? :/

Anybody noticed this efect on diferent card then ATI?

I tested ATI HD2600, HD3200, 4550, 3850 same problem.

Here at work i have integrated Intel 82945G, and no such problem :((

I am desperate, it looks very ugly on big TV screen :(

    This was fixed on my HD3200 after updating to Catalyst 8.11. Didn't know the 4550 had the same problem...

    8.12 broke it again. So i reverted back to 8.11. You should give it a try.

    Prior to 8.11 i had the current driver from MB-manufacturer Gigabyte installed. I installed 8.11 over it. Hope that helps, best of luck.

    8.12 broke it again. So i reverted back to 8.11. You should give it a try.

    Sorry it does not work for you. Which pixel format did you choose?

    What do you mean by pixelformat? This can be set somewhere in CCC?
