Hi all

Just installed MP 1.1.0 beta along with the MP-TVSeries 2.3.3538. The import went great and pulled down all the thumbs for all of my shows (8500+ episodes). I have 1 odd thing happening and 1 question.

The odd thing first. Obviously, following the import, I went through and flagged everything as watched that was (through MP, not the config tool). Since then I have added episodes to 3 different (watched) shows...and the newly added episode is added...but flagged as watched, meaning I have to switch to All episodes and flag it as unwatched. I added an episode to a show that had episodes still to watch and this didn't happen. Has anyone had this before?

Now the question. Sometimes, when I add a new episode..thetvdb.com doesn't have an episode image yet...so obviously I get a blank episode image for the show. However, when the episode does actually get an image...it never seems to update within my listings. Is there a way I can get the plugin to check for missing data and update?

Thanks

This is a known issue, the reason why it occurs is that you download episode information for the whole series...this means your database is most likely going to contain episodes that will air in the future. Now, when you select Mark All As Watched you are also marking those future episodes as well.

It would make sense that the plugin checks for this and only marks the ones upto the current date. Just haven't got around to it yet.

Not sure why this is not working for you, it does for me. If you select manual import from the GUI do the thumbs appear?

Thanks for the response. I had indeed checked for it to download all the future information too, and they are all in fact watched. I have disabled this now and unwatched all future episodes, so that makes sense. Thanks. Like you say though, it would be good if setting a series to watched, only flags the episodes you actually have, nothing that isn't actually on the PC.

I just did an update, and most of the missing thumbs are there, except one episode. I checked thetvdb and it definitely has one..maybe it just takes a few attempts as the others have thumbs now that didn't before.

    Thanks for your help.
