Is there anything that can be done in the configuration when you don't get the theatres you want from the city/postal code entered? Some theatres just don't show up.

Please post your mtsa.log file.

Bye,
Nephilim

I will post the log file when I get home.

However, I couldn't see the ShowTimes plugin within MP. The GUI plugin is enabled, and I am using the StreamedMP skin.. copied the corresponding skin xml to the skins/StreamedMP folder, but no joy.

Any ideas on that?

You have to do a manual download first.

So you need to have a manual download completed before the actual plugin appears in the MP plugins list ??

I did select Manual Download during the configuration, which appeared to complete, however it did say that not all of the showtimes for the selected theatre were able to be obtained for the duration specified.

Again, I suspect giving you that log would give some answers.

Sorry I did n't understand your initial question...
The pugin is configured to be listed in home? If so, you have to use the Stream MP Editor to add it to the home.

And yes a log is required...

Here are the logs.

So to reiterate my problems:

a) not all movie theatres in my area (calgary) were fetched
b) no showtimes in my plugins or the home menu.

however, MP crashes when I try to use showtimes
You are missing a skin file for the popup (dialog) that MyShowTimes is using. This is missing from the StreamedMP skin package. Already posted on this in the StreamedMP thread, though the post seems kinda ignored.
To solve this just copy paste DialogNotify.xml from say the blue3wide folder or another skin. It won't look good but MP won't crash either.

thanks, that solved the crash. (Using the Monochrome DialogNotify.xml looks pretty good in StreamedMP btw). Now for some reason I get that popup like once every 10 seconds!

But still not all of the theatres appear in the grabber, and when I do pick a theatre that appears in the list, I get no results from it.

..sigh.. now no matter what city I put in.. no results.

Where does this app fetch the movie showtimes from anyway? Is this all over port 80?
