hmm... this appears to be a plugin issue???? switched to blue3wide, and was trying to see what is up with the look\skin files. it display of the items was still really wacked out. tried browsing around within the skin and MP crashed. Log attached.

I wll attach a picture to show what is up with the skin. looks the same\similar on both b3wide and monochrome.

Yes you can use the control.isvisible(24) but an already modified Black & White 1080 skin is already in the MPI.

I've already modified the Blue3 and Blue3Skin, did you install the MPI? The xml files are updated?

Edit: added some screenshot... Try reconfiguring the plugin...

I have. I will try again. doing an uninstall of the plugin and a full re-install. I will make sure I delete the cache folder too, just to be safe.

with the streamedMP plugin the showtimes don't appear to display anywhere? not sure if this was a one-off issue, only tried once so far since updating to this new version..

ok, deleted the cache, uninstalled the plugin, made sure the .xml file ws gone, it was gone. re-installed plugin, verified that the .xml file was there, it was. launched media portal, went into showtimes, exact same result. hit the back button on the remote to get back to the main menu and the picture below shows what happens.

this is on b3w, on a completely fresh install from OS up. on 1.0.1 of MP.

Everything else works great. just not this for some reason.

i did some updates to that skin earlier.. i'm done with the new skin file for the latest version now will upload tomorrow..

first of all, thanks for the gui properties! as the skinners are not bound to control id's anymore, the plugin skinning becomes much more flexible! i like that very much!

have some problems with new version too... check attached moviedata.xml and try to reproduce these:

* i cannot see #showtimes_nextupdate anymore.. seems like either control 45 is not set visible state or the property is empty..

* enter plugin, select "show theaters", select ART-KINO-CROATIA, facade is empty now, you can still press enter and you would get empty result set.. could you hide "empty" days (if for example theater has shows today but not tomorrow), then hide "empty" theaters if there are no shows on any days and also if all theaters are "empty"-disable the "show theaters" button?

* this is another similar bug.. select a movie to go to details, select Showtimes, you're presented with only one cinema now: CINESTAR RIJEKA. select it, and the facade is again empty... you can press enter and you will have the showtimes (#st_showtimes) but #st_moviedate will be empty..

* next press escape, and you're back in some half-details, half-showtimes view... press escape again, you're in cinema selection mode.. i have no idea whats going on here, maybe you could tell

* in movie details focus is ALWAYS set to Next button.. that bugs me if i wanna click Previous button couple of times in a row.. could you add a condition if action caller was Previous button, new focus is on Previous button too..

First. Could I be getting so sort of parsing issue with quote marks??? the movie name contains quote marks, and I know from working with command lines in dos and windows that those can be killers for things. maybe have to work out a "safe name" type of thing.

second, I am getting the "No translation found for id 71119924". What is that???? I have no clue.

I hope I can get this fixed quick. I am building this for my brother in law and his dedicated home theatre room. 14 foot screen, 7.1 surround, the works. we are hoping to have a movie night soon. And this will be treated as a piece of audio video equipment, not a PC.

Hey, this is what I found. It is the quote marks in the movie name that is causing the display issues.

from the moviedata.xml file, I changed:
