After running 1.0.0.0 for many weeks without many problems I decided to install the latest FloppyDTV firmware and upgrade to MP 1.0.1.0. At first everything seemed fine, but today unfortunately I can no longer watch encrypted TV-channels due to extreme stuttering, permanent freezing most of the time. The FTA channels are fine. I also tried the preview in TV Server config, same problem. FTA channels are fine, Encrypted channels have severe stutter problems.
Looking at the logfiles there are loads of discontinuity errors, PES problems, etc. (At the moment I don't have the logfiles available, I'll post them later).
The funny thing is: The FireDTV Viewer has no problem whatsoever displaying scrambled channels.

If I look at the MP logs I find:
**************************************************
***** SIGNAL LEVEL: 98, SIGNAL QUALITY: 98 *****
**************************************************
on the FTA channels,

**************************************************
***** SIGNAL LEVEL: 0, SIGNAL QUALITY: 0 *****
**************************************************
or
**************************************************
***** SIGNAL LEVEL: 32, SIGNAL QUALITY: 32 *****
**************************************************
on the encrypted channels.

This seems ok except for maybe low signal quality, but the stuttering is unacceptable.

The FireDTV support tools reports:
Status for device 1
Model : FloppyDTV T/CI
GUID : 0x0012870025001C4D
HW Ver.: 01.25.01

Frontend Status:

What could be going on here?

I've created a few log files. First I tuned into an encrypted channel for a few minutes, TVSserver-Encrypted.rar and MediaPortal-Encrypted.rar. Severe stuttering.

Then I cleared the logs and restarted MP and TV Server, and tuned to two FTA channels. Everything fine.

Problem solved.

It seems I jumped to conclusions too soon. Further experimenting showed that the problem doesn't affect all encrypted channels, but only the 5 channels on DVB-T frequency 818.00 MHz. On FireDTV Viewer these 5 channels are on a different frequency.
I found out that the channel scan picked up these 5 channels on a different frequency, maybe another freq that's used in another area. After manually editting the frequency for the 5 channels everything works like a charm.

Suggestion for the next release: An easy way to manually select frequencies for channelscans.
